Teaching has been my lifelong passion and I feel lucky to have been able to indulge it as an economics and healthcare administration professor. After PhD graduation and upon starting at James Madison University, I received further training at the Center for Faculty Innovation and later at the CeMENT Workshop (Mentoring for junior female faculty) by the American Economic Association.
I have enjoyed teaching diverse students with various backgrounds and in different learning environments including online, in-person, and hybrid. My core values in teaching are up to date quality instruction, effective communication with students, and active student engagement.
