My primary research areas are in health economics, health policy, healthcare systems, and labor economics. I have taught health economics to both economics and health services administration students. I am currently undertaking and supervising research on the disparities in the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on healthcare systems around the world. I am also looking at the impacts of Covid-19 on the quality of healthcare in OECD countries and determining the reasons behind considerable declines. In a different research stream, I am looking at the disparities in student vaccine hesitancy in the states of California and Virginia.
On my CV, you can find a list of my research projects and scholarly agenda, publications, working papers, grants, and doctoral dissertation.
