Greetings! I am currently a fulltime professor at the Department of Economics at James Madison University. My primary specialty is health economics, healthcare systems, and public health policy and I have taught the (senior level) health economics course to both economics and health services administration students. In addition to teaching several other courses, I have supervised undergraduate research projects, served in various committees, and participated in mutiple collaborative attempts to develop an interdicsiplinary graduate program in the area of health policy. My current research projects include Covid-19 vaccine hesitancy , disparities among the healthcare systems in combating infectious diseases , and transportation systems and the pandemic, among others. I am also interested in substance abuse and the interactions between labor market and individuals' physical and mental health.
